Debt Consolidation Loans--Observations from the Dog
This is the story of a dog named Jive. Jive could tell he was being fed that generic brand of dog food, and he didn't like it, so he started paying a little more attention to what was going on in his owner's household. He noticed that his owner, Joe, had been home a lot more than usual lately, particularly when he was supposed to be at work. To figure out what was going on, Jive started eavesdropping on Joe's phone conversations. He correctly deducted that Joe lost his job as a sushi roller and was beginning to feel the sting of being unemployed.

Eventually, Joe got a job again, but Jive was still getting the generic dog food. "Now what's going on?" he thought. At a loss, he strolled in to Joe's home office while he was paying bills. Joe was cussing a lot, and he even overheard Joe making calls to some of his credit card companies asking for lower interest rates. Most of them said no, which made Joe cuss more. Now that Joe was working again, he seemed to be gone more than he was when he was a sushi roller.

When Joe went to work the next day, Jive decided to use his accounting background to figure out what was going on. He dug some of the credit card statements out of the trash and looked at Joe's pay stubs. "Wow! He's making more money than before!" Jive thought. "Why's he still feeding me this crap?" Then Jive looked at the credit card statements. Apparently, when Joe wasn't working, he was living off credit cards. Jive looked in Joe's bank file only to discover that he only had about $400 in savings. "Why doesn't he just get a debt consolidation loan?" Jive thought. "He has that boat in the garage he could use as collateral." Jive thought and thought about Joe's situation and how he could teach him about a debt consolidation loan until his brain finally hurt. He turned the t.v. on to watch reruns of Lassie. "What a fox!" Jive thought about Lassie. Then, a commercial about debt consolidation loans came on.

"We have the lowest rates on debt consolidation loans," the actor said. "No matter how much debt you have, we have the bestdebt consolidation loans around. Looking for cheap debt consolidation loans? We've got you covered. No collateral? That's okay too! We don't do unsecured debt consolidation loans but you can enroll in one of our many debt consolidation programs. We even have bad credit debt consolidation!"

Jive thought, "This is exactly what Joe needs! And a couple of steaks!" With that, Jive left through the doggie door and headed to the debt consolidation company he had seen advertised during Lassie. He wanted to get a business card or flier from the place and strategically place it on Joe's desk, so he caused someone who was leaving to drop a bunch of loose paperwork. (He had seen Lassie do something similar in today's episode. What a smart dog that Lassie was!) In the loose paperwork was a business card, which Jive picked up with his teeth and ran home with. He placed it on Joe's desk, and Joe found it a few days later. Luckily, Joe seemed intrigued, so he called the company and eventually enrolled in a debt consolidation program.

Soon all was well in the house of Joe again, and Jive was no longer eating generic dog food. He had his old gourmet stuff again, and Joe was even eating steak once in a blue moon. Jive liked that because Joe always gave him a few bites. Joe never knew how much Jive helped him get his debt consolidation solution, but Jive didn't care. He was content to know that he helped.
